Your support makes it possible to offer more low-cost classes, free public lectures and performances as well as publish a textbook documenting four years of work, and present our first student exhibition. This exhibition, long envisioned but not yet possible due to limited resources, will provide a platform for new voices and mark a significant milestone in our mission of education, creation, and public engagement.
Over the past four years, our programs have included studio seminar classes, lectures and project development workshops that support artists in realizing works intended for public presentation. With the art world often remaining inaccessible, our programming helps create and sustain independent self-organized cultural initiatives. Documenting our history and expanding public access through exhibitions, publications and programming strengthens a growing network of creative expression, offering tools, visibility, and support to artists often left out of the mainstream art world.
